This event will be a Q&A style open forum discussion with Dr. Jose Morey and Dr. Karina Parr to educate EVMS students, faculty, and community members about the AI in Dermatology.

Dr. Parr received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and graduated with honors. She was inducted as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 2009. Dr. Parr completed an internship at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, as well as residency in Dermatology at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital, associated with Texas A&M Health Science Center in Temple, Texas. She served as chief resident in Dermatology during her last year of training and then spent two years in private practice working at Oyster Point Dermatology in Newport News. Dr. Parr is now Chief of Dermatology at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Associate Clinical Professor at the Riverside Regional Medical Center. Her clinical interests involve dermatologic surgery, teledermatology, and healthcare economics.
